the missing ClickUp feature · 2,828 votes since 2017
Tasks, subtasks, comments, attachments, checklists, dependencies — copied to the target workspace with a full preview first and a one-click undo after. Your source is never touched.
free preview · flat fee per migration · undo always free
§01 · The problem
The official feature request has been open since 2017 — 2,828 votes and counting →
Agencies
consolidating client workspaces do this every month — by hand, list by list.
Merged teams
after an acquisition, live in two workspaces for months because moving is worse.
Everyone
who tried export/import discovered CSV keeps task names and loses everything else.
§02 · The process
One ClickUp sign-in covers both workspaces. Read-only until you approve.
We read the entire Space and show you a full manifest: exactly what will move, what needs preparing, what degrades. No card required.
One flat payment starts the queue. Every write is idempotent and rate-limit aware — big Spaces just take longer, nothing breaks.
Download the old-ID → new-ID audit CSV. Not happy? One click deletes everything the migration created. The source was never touched.
§03 · The fidelity ledger
The full round-trip test passes 56/56 checks. We’d rather tell you what degrades than let you find out later.
Authorship
API writes are made by the connected user — original author is kept as an "[Originally by …]" prefix on every comment.
Created dates
become the migration time; original timestamps are preserved in the audit CSV.
Custom field definitions
ClickUp's API cannot create field definitions — the preview tells you exactly which fields and options to create in the target first, then values map automatically.
Comment attachments
become task attachments.

§04 · Pricing
No subscription, no per-task metering, no “contact sales.” Scan and preview any Space for free — pay only when you decide to run the migration.

§05 · Questions
Yes — that is what SpaceMove does. It copies a Space from one workspace into another, keeping hierarchy, tasks, comments and attachments. Run it once per Space until everything lives in the target workspace.
Not yet. The official feature request ("Move items across Workspaces") has been open since 2017 with 2,800+ votes. The closest built-in option — sharing a template — doesn't carry comments, attachments or history, and that gap is exactly what SpaceMove fills.
SpaceMove is copy-only. It never modifies or deletes anything in the source. Migration writes happen only in the target, and one-click undo removes everything it created there.
ClickUp's API allows 100 requests per minute on most plans, and we stay inside it. Small Spaces finish in minutes; a Space with thousands of tasks can take hours — the job runs server-side, so you can close the tab and come back.
Values migrate automatically when the field exists in the target. The API cannot create field definitions, so the free preview gives you an exact checklist of fields, options and statuses to create in the target first — a two-minute setup for a full-fidelity move.
Scanning and previewing are free. A migration is one flat fee regardless of size, and undo is always free.
